Forensic Toxicology Expert Witness & Case Review

Drawing on more than 31 years at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) crime laboratory, including 14 years as a forensic toxicologist and 13 years as a crime scene analyst, I provide independent analysis, case review, and expert testimony for prosecutors and defense attorneys.

• Drug toxicology interpretation: DUI/DUID and drug-facilitated sexual assault cases
• Blood alcohol interpretation: retrograde extrapolation, medical-to-legal (serum/plasma to whole blood) conversions, and number-of-drinks estimates
• Breath alcohol interpretation
• Case and procedure review: evaluating whether crime scene and laboratory work in homicide and violent crime cases followed accepted practices and standard operating procedures
• Forensic document review: laboratory reports, case files, and supporting documentation

3. Written opinion or report when requested
4. Deposition and trial testimony as needed
